The Teachers Clearininghouse for Science and Society Education, Inc was founded at the New Lincoln School on 11 March 1982 by Irma S. Jarcho, John L. Roeder, and Nancy S. Van Vranken. It purpose is to channel information on science and society education as well as data on available materials and other resources.
In addition to this web site the Clearinghouse also publishes a print newsletter three times a year, and an annual special topic supplement. We also have established a collection of materials at the Trevor Day School in New York City. In addition to our published resources we have a wealth of human capital in the form of experienced educators who are often only a phone call or e-mail away.
Please take a moment to say hi, and give us some comments about our site and tell us about yourself. We encourage you to support our efforts as an individual or as a corporation.
