Help topics:
The web site:
The design of this website uses frames to allow you faster access to the articles, reviews and resources that are the keystone of this site. Most browsers IE, Netscape and AOL now support frames. The only popular browser that doesn't is AOL versions before 3.0. If you are using that browser you will still be able to get around the site using the text links at the bottom of each page.
There are two major disadvantages to using frames. First you can't bookmark an individual frame, and some browser don't allow you to print an individual frame. To solve this problem each page has a link at the bottom of the page that says Full Screen that will make the page take up the whole browser window so you can bookmark it or print it.
Finally even as we move to our new look we still don't move the files around our web site so the history function of your browser will keep track of which articles you have already read.
The Print Version of Newsletter:
If you find that you would like to have the print version of the newsletter in addition to the web version please subscribe. It cost only $5 per year. Additional donations are always needed and appreciated.
Back issues of the Newsletter available:
Because our web site does not go back before our Fall 1996 issue, several readers have written to request hard copy of prior issues. These are available free as long as our supply lasts, but we must insist on a payment of $1.00 to cover the cost of postage for each issue requested. Please send a list of the requested issues, your name and address, plus $1.00 postage cost for each issue, to Irma S. Jarcho at the Teachers Clearinghouse address below.
