Clearinghouse cofounder Irma Jarcho has become a member of the National Master Educators Network of the Office of Science Education's (OSE) website,http://207.91.68.41/nih_master. This honor is accorded to a select group of over 100 outstanding educators nationwide who have participated in various OSE focus groups. The Network will communicate about developing curriculum supplements to be produced by OSE in cooperation with three institutes of the Department of Health & Human Services. The contractor to develop a supplement on infectious disease for the middle school and a cancer biology and human genome supplement for the high school will be selected by 30 September 1997.
